Discovering a New Path
Meet Sione, a graduate of MSL’s Retail and Customer Service programme. His journey to joining the popular retail course began with a simple recommendation from a friend, and turned into him discovering his own path and an enjoyment for the retail industry.
“I heard about MSL from a friend and wanted to try it out and see if this was the thing I wanted to do.” This curiosity led him to enrol in both Level 2 and Level 3 MSL Retail courses, specialising in customer service.

More Than Just a Retail Course
What stood out for Sione was the strong sense of community he found at MSL. ” The retail course was a good experience, and I built up my relationships with the teachers,” he explains. “They made me feel comfortable. They always crack jokes – it made me feel happy.”
The supportive environment had such an impact that Sione considers his classmates and teachers an extended family – “I feel like I can safely say they’re my other family,” he shares with sincerity. This sense of belonging reflects MSL’s commitment to nurturing each student’s growth and education journey.
When asked if he has any advice for potential students, Sione’s response is enthusiastic and direct: “Take it [the opportunity], you know, take it. It’s worth it.” His journey through the retail and customer service program has not only equipped him with valuable skills but also surrounded him with a supportive network of friends and mentors.
A Family Beyond Education
Sione’s story is one of gratitude and personal growth. “I would like to say thank you to MSL for bringing me in,” he expresses, also acknowledging the support of his family, friends, and fellow students who have lifted him up along the way – “I love youse.”
